Salary: $130K+ $150K+ Depending on Experience

The Metrology Engineer is:
Experienced technical lead with Woollam experience, adhering to an “engineering led” philosophy in which the engineer is comfortable learning or performing all aspects of tool operation, application and maintenance.
Responsibilities
Provide effective pass-downs to support uninterrupted operation for characterization and metrology activities.
Sustain existing metrology in the areas of, n & k dielectric thickness ellipsometry, Atomic Force Microscopy measurements (AFM), thickness profilometry, Dark Field Wafer Defect Inspection, Equivalent Oxide Thickness (EOT) gate measurement, unpatterned surface defects inspection, microscope inspection, Four Point Probe Contact Resistivity measurements, film stress and wafer bow measurements, film thickness Reflectometry measurements, Total Reflect X-Ray Fluorescent Spectroscopy measurements, Opto-Acoustic Thickness Metal Film measurement, IR spectroscopy, defect imaging, thick film measurements, in-line electrical wafer probing measurements, Metrology Equipment recipe creations, calibrations, accuracy and repeatability control, Gauge R&R study.
Requirements
Wafer characterization experience in a fab in the area of Metrology
Ability to operate Metrology tools, write and run Metrology recipes, inspect wafers under the microscope, and perform basic calibrations, accuracy and repeatability controls, and Gauge R&R study.
Required Education and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree is required. Masters preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of experience required.
- PhD with 1 to 3 years Experience is Ideal
