THE ROLE
As the Human Resources Specialist / Onsite Lead, you will be an integral resource for our contingent workforce within this manufacturing client. You will liaise between the contingent workforce, our client, and internal Balance team members to ensure a successful staffing program.

Primary duties will involve:

Building relationships and staying engaged with employees

Consistently communicating with management and client regarding the day-to-day operations

Act as a liaison between temporary associates and client management to resolve any issues in performance or other issues that may arise

Hire, train and induct temporary associates and ensure that they are aware of their duties and timelines

Oversee time-keeping system; manage employee attendance; assist with processing and collecting time cards of temporary workforce by coordinating efforts with appropriate management and ensure that hours are properly and timely calculated

Assist management team in ensuring that all activities are being performed in accordance to both company and client policies

Coach and counsel temporary associates with the guidance of Program Manager and Human Resources, and in accordance with company and client’s policies and procedures

Maintain attendance, performance, safety, production and KPI reporting on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis

Maintain confidential records by either electronic filing or other appropriate and available methods

Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures; managing injuries and violations; investigating and assisting the Safety department with injury reports
Ideal experience will include:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in working with contingent employees or similar human resources experience
- Strong organizational and computer skills, including ability to utilize Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, and Excel/Pivot tables at a basic level (ideal)
- Strong relationship building skills and the ability to communicate well
- Customer service skills
This role will involve working on site in Fremont, CA 2-3x per week and home the rest of the time.
